I-75 Yarn Crawl at 2 Point Farm Alpacas

YES, we will be open for the I-75 Yarn Crawl on July 31-Aug. 8th, 2020 from 10am – 6pm! The passports are FREE this year www.thei75yarncrawl.com. We are stocked with a variety of beautiful Suri Alpaca yarns from our herd, including 1) mill spun Suri/Soff Silk blends, 2) mill spun Suri/Merino blends 3) 100% Suri in natural and hand dyed colors and 4) heavenly, one-of-a-kind hand spun yarn made from our alpaca’s first shearing and show blankets. We also carry premium Suri alpaca yarns from Salt River Mills including Suri Decadence, Suri Textures and Suri Singles, as well as rug yarn and roving.

If you are new to Suri alpaca yarn, we can show you examples of the lovely items you can knit or crochet with this exquisite yarn and recommend patterns. The alpacas are close by, so you may get to meet the alpaca that grew your yarn, who might be expecting a little snack!

The shop will be stocked with a variety of alpaca products including “life changing socks”, gloves and dryer balls. Each person who makes a yarn purchase will be entered in a drawing for a gift basket of Alpaca Socks or Alpaca Gloves and a Skein of mill spun 100% Alpaca Yarn! If you need to shop earlier or later than posted hours, please give me a call or text at 513-218-8978.

Masks will be required. We will allow you and your yarn crawl companions to shop in the store before the next person/group comes in so that we can keep some distance between visitors. Hand sanitizer will also be available as well as an outdoor hand washing station.

Meet Our New Alpacas!

So many changes this year!  I’ll start by introducing one of our new additions to the farm.

Eldora’s Accoyo Talent by Rockstar joined us all the way from Oregon this year.  He comes with an impressive pedigree, show awards and has a dense, lustrous and curly fleece that has achieved perfect scores for shear weight in several shows.  His 2015 fleece also won the Judge’s Choice award in the largest all Suri fleece show in the country this year!  Besides all of his “talents” he has a wonderful gentle and inquisitive personality and is an excellent apple eater!  Check out this video to see just how much he loves apples!   Talent began his herdsire career this fall and I can’t wait to see his offspring next year!
