Foundation Suri Alpacas

This little gem is 2 Point Farm's Marigold by Tempo, daughter of Eldora's Tempo by Rockstar and OAF Pretty Penny, and granddaughter of Copper Mahogany! At her first halter show, at age 7 months the judge commented that she was carrying a lot of fleece, with excellent luster and conformation. At the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show, Marigold won the Fawn Female Color Championship, a 1st Place, A Best Bred & Owned in the Fawn Color Group and an Advanced Fleece Award with a score of 84, noting her excellent fineness, exceptional softness of hand and brillant luster. Marigold's sire, Tempo is a proven champion producer with 1% EPDs for the last five years. His top show awards include wins at the Suri Network Fleece Show for Get of Sire, Judges Choice, Spirit of the Industry and Best Lock. As of Fall 2020, 70% of Tempo offspring that have been shown are Champions/Reserve Champions and/or Judge's Choice, Blue Ribbon and Best Award winners! Importantly, 100% of offspring with reported EPDs are in the Top 2-5%! Marigold's dam, OAF Copper Pretty Penny is a beautiful female with a nice combination of staple length, uniformity, fleece weight and fineness! She ranks in the top 10% for mean staple length (MSL) with above average fineness and uniformity. She is the daughter of the spectacular herdsire Copper Mahogany. Her genetics include Inca and Amador on her sire's side and JAX Accoyo Kalvin on her dam's side. Penny's dam, USA Peruvian Penelope is known for fineness and has a very good reproductive history, a very important quality for producing healthy cria. Penny's outer beauty combined with her inquisitive and engaging personality makes her a standout in our herd!

In May we welcomed 2PointFarm's Satin Doll by Tempo to our herd. She is the offspring of Eldora's Tempo by Rockstar and Eldora's Accoyo China Doll who produced her full siblings, 2PointFarm's Overture by Tempo and 2PointFarm's Lyric by Tempo. She is the granddaughter of Toni's Sapaccoyo Raggy Doll, our herd matriarch and a champion producer in her own right. We expect Satin Doll will be just as amazing! Stay tuned.
